The extensive addition to and renovation of Thayer Academy’s Middle School reimagines the former courtyard as an interior light-filled gathering space. The new design streamlines circulation throughout the building, creating space for informal gathering, as well as more formal presentations, and dining. The project also incorporates new state of the art Classrooms, Science, Math and Engineering Rooms, Collaborative Design Lab, Music, Art, Library, Dining room and Kitchen, and creates exterior spaces for teaching and play.
